Gird AI is personal, but practice rarely happens alone. Groups let a parent, coach, or teacher see what a member chooses to share and place a reminder on their phone — with consent, with attribution, and without ever seeing an email address.
Each group speaks its own words
A group carries the labels its members use. The app and Coach say “Parent” and “Kid”, or “Teacher” and “Student” — never a generic role name.
Family
Dad asks Jordan to do the squat day before dinner.
Team
The head coach checks the week's sessions before practice.
Studio
A piano teacher sees minutes practiced and run-through ratings.
Class
A tutor nudges the mock test the night before it is due.
What leaders can see
Three switches. Only you can flip them.
Every member sets their own consent per group. It is checked on every request, so leaving a group revokes access immediately.
- Leaders can send me reminders — on by default. A reminder they send fires on your phone and shows who asked.
- Leaders can see my training — off by default. The same numbers as your Reports, nothing more.
- Leaders can see all my reminders — off by default. Otherwise they only see the reminders they sent you.
Leaders never see your email. The group sees the display name you choose.
Reminders with a name on them
“Dad asked you to…”
A leader can place a reminder in a consenting member's account — a session alarm, a to-do, a message. It lands through the member's own sync, fires as an ordinary notification labelled with who asked, and shows up in their reminders list so their Coach can mention it.
- The member completes or cancels it like any other reminder
- Leaders always see the reminders they themselves placed
- A leader's Coach can help draft it — “remind Ava about Thursday's practice at 6”

Eight characters, with a role, an optional label for the newcomer, an expiry, and a use count. Nothing is emailed.
