Privacy Policy

Gird AI (“we”, “us”) is operated by [Legal entity name]. This policy explains what we collect when you use the Gird AI app, the Gird AI service that your Grok Coach connects to, and this website; why we collect it; and the choices you have.

What we collect

Account

Your name, email address, and a password hash. Sign-in sessions are stored on your device and on our servers so the app and Coach can act on your behalf.

Coaching content

The Coaches you add (discipline, name, color); the sessions, programs, and Development Cycles your Coach writes; reminders; Coach Notes; daily to-dos; your Profile from the intake conversation (preferred name, goals, how you want to use Gird AI, availability, experience, constraints, time zone, and your coaching policy such as quiet hours and how much Coach may do unattended).

What you record

Completed and abandoned sessions with their set logs, rep logs, Scores, ratings, RPE, and notes; recorded and estimated one-rep maxes; daily check-offs; daily notes. This is the record your Coach reads and your Reports are computed from.

Groups

If you join a family, team, studio, or class group: the group's labels, your role, the display name and label you choose for the group, and your three consent switches. Reminders a leader places in your account record who asked.

Reports you file

Feature requests and problem reports filed in the app or through Coach, and Invitation Requests submitted on this website (name, email, disciplines of interest, note, IP address, and browser user agent).

Technical

Server logs (IP address, request path, timestamps) kept for security and reliability. Coach's unattended actions are written to an audit log so you can see what it did and why.

Subscriptions and billing

Your subscription status, plan, trial and renewal dates, and transaction identifiers. Personal subscriptions are processed by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat; Trainer tiers are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

What we do not collect

Videos you attach to a session stay on your phone and are never uploaded. We do not collect precise location, contacts, or advertising identifiers in the app. We do not sell personal data.

How we use it

• To run the service: sync your data between your phone and your account, compute your Reports and Training Summary, fire reminders on your device, and let your Grok Coach read and write the coaching content described above.
• To let the people you invited see what you chose to share, and nothing else.
• To answer your Invitation Request and support requests.
• To keep the service secure and to debug problems you report.

We do not use your coaching content to train machine-learning models.

Grok and xAI

Coach is a Grok Bot operated by xAI on Grok. When you connect Coach, you grant it access to your Gird AI account through a sign-in you approve. Everything Coach reads from or writes to Gird AI passes through Grok and is subject to xAI's terms and privacy policy, including how your conversation is stored. You can revoke Coach's access at any time at api.gird.app/connections. Gird AI is not affiliated with xAI.

Sharing

• Group leaders see only what your consent switches allow: reminders they placed (always), your training summary (if enabled), all your reminders (if enabled). They never see your email.
• Service providers that host our infrastructure (cloud hosting and database services) process data on our behalf under contract.
• Payment processors: Apple and Google for Personal in-app purchases, RevenueCat for subscription status, and Stripe for Trainer tiers. They process billing data under their own terms.
• Legal: we disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public.

This website

The marketing pages on gird.app use the Meta Pixel (ID 1965755303708138) to measure visits and Invitation Requests. Meta may set cookies and receive your IP address and browser information under Meta's privacy policy. They also use Fathom Analytics (site ID QRYXTOMT), a privacy-focused analytics service that does not use cookies, to measure visits and Invitation Requests under Fathom's privacy policy. The Gird AI app itself contains no advertising or analytics SDKs.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. Email support@gird.app from the address on the account to delete it; we remove the account and its synced data within [30] days, except records we must keep for legal or security reasons. Data on your phone is removed when you delete the app. Invitation Requests are kept until the invitation is sent or you ask us to remove them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us at support@gird.app. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Gird AI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. Family groups are designed for a parent to coach a family member who has their own account and controls their own consent switches. [Confirm age gate and regional thresholds, e.g. 16 in the EU.]

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored as salted hashes. Access to production systems is restricted and logged. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting you we will notify you as the law requires.

Changes

We will post changes here and update the date above. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email.
