No — use the assistant you already pay for. Grok is the primary surface: Coach is a Grok Bot, and Grok Bots require a SuperGrok plan or higher (see Grok plans). Claude and ChatGPT work too through the same connection plus a host prompt pack (see How it works). The app has no chat of its own: the conversation happens with your assistant, and the app is where you do the work and see your progress.

iPhone and Android. The app is in English, Spanish, and French; fitness content is fully translated and the other disciplines fall back to English.

Sign in on the phone, then add a custom connector with the MCP URL the app shows on its Setup screen. In Grok open Connectors; in Claude go to Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector (https://api.gird.app/mcp); in ChatGPT add the MCP server URL in developer settings; in Cursor add it as a custom MCP server. Coach writes your sessions, plans Development Cycles toward a date, schedules reminders, pins Coach Notes, and reads your history and your notes. It never records a Session for you and never marks a daily to-do done. What shows up in your history is what you did on the phone.

Only if you let it. Once a day, on a routine you agree to, Coach reads a snapshot of today and the last week and either takes one small step or stays quiet. Every unattended action — a nudge, moving a day, swapping in a shorter session you pre-approved — is off by default and can be set to ask-first or automatic. Quiet hours and daily and weekly caps apply, and a reminder for a session you already finished is dropped before it fires.

Yes. Every Coach action has a manual fallback in the app: build a session, plan a cycle, set a 1RM, dismiss a note. It is the secondary path, but nothing depends on the Bot being reachable.

One Bot. It checks which Coaches you have at the start of every conversation and speaks as the one you're talking about, using that discipline's words. Your Piano Coach never edits your lifting cycle.

Revoke that assistant's grant at api.gird.app/connections — Grok, Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor each appear as their own connection. The phone stays signed in; Coach simply loses access until you connect again. Never connect Coach with a shared API key.

Yes. The phone is the primary store while you train: sessions are written locally and synced to your account when you're online. Coach reads them from there.

Your account email, the Coaches you added, the sessions and cycles Coach wrote, your completed sessions with their set logs and Scores, reminders, Coach Notes, daily to-dos and notes, and your Profile from intake. Videos you attach to a session stay on your phone and are never uploaded. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Only what you allow, per group, with three switches only you can change: whether leaders may send you reminders (on by default), whether they may see your training summary (off), and whether they may see all your reminders (off). Leaders never see your email. Leaving a group revokes everything at once.

Email support@gird.app from the address on the account. We delete the account and its synced data; anything still on your phone is removed when you delete the app.

Yes — 14 days on every plan. Personal is $9.99/month or $69.99/year and trials start in the app through the App Store or Google Play; Trainer tiers run $39–$149/month and trials start on the web with a card. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing. Guest mode (local-only, no account) stays free forever.

Personal: cancel in your phone's subscriptions — App Store or Google Play — and you keep access until the end of the billing period. Trainer: open Manage billing from your account page; the tier stays active until the period ends and your clients keep training until then. No emails, no calls.

Personal subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so refunds go through them under store policy. Trainer tiers are billed by us through Stripe — if something went wrong, email support@gird.app and we'll make it right.

Nothing is deleted. For 30 days your phone keeps syncing so everything stays backed up, but Coach stops answering. After that the app keeps working locally with what's on your phone. Resubscribe any time and sync and Coach pick up where they left off.

No. Your Trainer tier covers your seats — 10, 30, or 100 clients depending on the tier. Clients train in your branded app for free and need no AI subscription of their own.
